This December, our dear neighbours at Windsor Recreation hosted their annual Winter Wonderland event for Windsor families. They prepared many surprises for the kiddos: a whole gym full of inflatable slides and trampolines, a photo zone inside a snow globe, free popcorn and hot cocoa, and, of course, pictures with Mr. and Mrs. Claus!
We couldn't help but join in on the fun. Windsor Public Schools brought Santa letter-writing kits, a wide variety of crafts, cookies, and… A portable planetarium! Children of all ages had a chance to learn their first star constellations and where to find them in the sky, finishing up the interactive lesson by singing with Elmo.
