Since academic excellence is vital to our success, WPS employees are constantly seeking opportunities to learn and improve. Professional Development days are meant exactly for that!
The PD day began with Windsor Nation—a presentation by the Acting Superintendent, Dr. Abdel-Hady, that highlighted the district’s success, future goals, and direction. “See the Good” was the main message of Windsor Nation—a direction that every educator can relate to.
Every full-time district employee had the opportunity to attend an educational session directly related to their day-to-day responsibilities. To accomplish such a large task, the WPS staff prepared 60 PD sessions, each on a different topic.
Coming together as a community and learning from one another was a highlight of this quarter, as seen in the positive feedback Windsor Public Schools received following the Professional Development day. Thank you to those who helped organize such an important event, as well as to those who attended PD and actively engaged with the materials!
