Windsor, CT--July 22, 2025--Dr. Noha Abdel-Hady, currently the Assistant Superintendent for Instructional Services for Windsor Public Schools, was appointed this evening by the Windsor Board of Education to be Acting Superintendent of the Windsor Public Schools. Dr. Abdel-Hady will assume Dr. Terrell Hill’s responsibilities while he is out of the district on leave.
Dr. Abdel-Hady has served as Assistant Superintendent for the Windsor Public Schools since 2022. Prior to becoming the Assistant Superintendent, she was STEM Director, beginning her tenure with Windsor Public Schools in 2016. She will immediately begin her duties as Acting Superintendent.
Dr. Abdel-Hady remarked, “This role, to me, is not just about leading a district—it’s about protecting the promise that every child can achieve greatness when adults lead with purpose and unity. I believe in Windsor. I believe in our students, our teachers, and our community. Together, we will build a school system that sets the standard, not just nationally but internationally—where hard work is honored, innovation is embraced, and every student is prepared to thrive in life, not just school.”
