ESPN's Jay HArris speaks to a group of ECE students

A SportsCenter favorite, ESPN anchor Jay Harris speaks and takes questions from Windsor High School students taking Contemporary Issues in Sports ECE class where they earn both college and high school credit.  

WINDSOR, October 2023 – In an ongoing effort to highlight exceptional educational programs, Windsor High School is thrilled to shed light on the rewarding experiences within its Early College Experience (ECE) initiative.

The ECE program allows driven high school students the unique opportunity for concurrent enrollment, enabling them to partake in college courses from esteemed institutions such as UCONN, all from the comfort of their high school. These courses count for both high school and college credit, setting a solid foundation for their academic journey.

During the highly sought-after, Contemporary Issues in Sports ECE class, students were treated to an exclusive session with renowned SportsCenter anchor, Jay Harris. This interactive encounter provided students with valuable insights and a glimpse into Mr. Harris’  illustrious 20-year career at ESPN and what it took to get there.
