Kruti D.

Kruti Dharsandiya- Valedictorian

Kruti Dhsarsandiya is Valedictorian for the Windsor High School Class of 2023.  

Kruti is a member of the National Honor Society, Rho Kappa Social Studies National Honor Society, Student Governance Council, Future Business Leaders of America, and French National Honor Society. She has received numerous awards including the Yale Book Award, High Honor Roll All Semesters, Paul J. Sorbo 2023 Scholar, Connecticut Association of Public School Superintendents Leadership Award, Jae Lim Award for Mathematics, All School Awards for Mathematics, World Language, Science, and Business, Rotary Club Student of the Month (2020), and Independent Study on Leadership in Finance and

Marketing. Kruti has been recognized by the University of Southern California's McCarthy Honors College and Global Leadership Program as a Selected Member. 

Kruti’s leadership roles include President for Student Government - Class of 2023 (2019-2023), President for Future Business Leaders of America (2019-2023), Secretary for Student Governance Council (September 2020-June 2022), Co-Chair of Million Women Mentors-CT, Chair of Windsor Greater Hartford Community Funds, Chair of Young Women’s Leadership Corps, Co-Chair CIAC Student Equity and Advisory Board, Student Emotional Learning (SEL) State Student Representative, Founder of Financial Literacy Program at YWCA and Weaver High School, Project Manager for Moore Basketball Clinic, YWCA Summer Program Instructor and she led an SEL Showcase lesson/Panel.   

Kruti’s extracurricular activities include UPenn Wharton School of Business - Leadership in Business World Summer Program (2022), CAS/CT State Board of Education-State Student Advisory Council on Education (2022-2023), NFHS National Student Leadership Summit (2022), Elite-10 Youth Leadership Development Program in Greater Hartford, Financial and Accounting Assistant at C&C Financial Firm, Presenter at Northeast PBIS Conference, Presenter at CT School Counselor Association, Keynote Speaker at CT Association of Boards of Education, Urban Assembly National SEL Conference Student Panelist, State Education Resource Center Student Conference DEI Presenter, Million Women Mentors Speaker and Connecticut Association of Schools High School Leadership Conference Presenter. 

She has also volunteered more than 500 hours helping in her community at Kam’s Read the Room reading to elementary students, Thanksgiving Food Giveaway through Emanuel Lutheran Church, volunteering every Sunday at her temple with the youth group, led school events during parent-teacher conferences and orientation, YWCA 5 Week Program to supporting the girl participants, SpeedPass Summer Transition Program and Tavern Trot. 

Kruti will attend the University of Southern California in the Fall and plans to major in Accounting and Finance with a minor in Data Science. 

Abigail V.

Abigail Morin-Viall - Salutatorian

Abigail Morin-Viall is Salutatorian for the Windsor High School Class of 2023. 


Abigail is a member of the National Honor Society, Rho Kappa Social Studies National Honor Society, and French National Honor Society. She has received numerous awards including the Harvard Book Award, AP Scholar with Distinction, Rotary Club Student of the Month, Air Force Education Foundation Award, Central Connecticut Conference All-Academic Team, and French 2 Award. 

Her leadership roles include BOE Student Representative (September 2022-January 2023) and School Governance Council Student Representative (2020-2021), Cadet Group Commander (2022-2023), Personnel Officer (2021-2022), and Junior Leadership and Academic Bowl Captain (2021-2022) for AFJROTC. Abigail is also a member of the Student Connections Leadership and AFJROTC color guard and drill teams.  

She has been a member of the Varsity Girls Soccer Team (2022) and Figure Skater for the Charter Oak Figure Skating Club (2007-2022). Abigail’s extracurricular activities include being a figure skating coach. She has also volunteered more than 200 hours helping in her community to develop a walk-a-thon to benefit wounded veterans and first responders, developed and ran a fundraiser to aid those in Windsor High School affected by house fires, and for a teacher in Windsor High School in need of a wheelchair accessible vehicle.   


Abigail will attend the University of Connecticut in the Fall and plans to major in Molecular and Cellular Biology on the Pre-Med track.
