There is a NEW sound coming from our WHS Band. From the live performances on the Football field this fall to the melodic jazz notes that filled the Marriott for our Service Awards, people are noticing a new wave of excellence. This change is mainly due to our new band director, Brandon Monroe.
A Windsor High School Alum, Mr. Monroe has come back home to share his passion for music with each of his students. In the two years he has been here he has also embarked on spreading his love beyond the high school through his now, highly anticipated, seasonal "Band Tours" to our elementary and middle schools.

Last night's performance by his Jazz Ensemble & Symphonic Band was definitely a defining moment for our already popular award-winning music department. The audience was treated to a beautifully planned, festive, and brilliantly executed concert! We look forward to our band's evolution under Mr. Monroe's direction!
