Happy faces

Windsor Public Schools was honored to collaborate in La Parranda, a vibrant community celebration of culture and student success. Partnering in events like this reinforces our belief that when students see their heritage valued in the community, they thrive.

With Hispanic and Latino students representing nearly 25% of our district, we take pride in the traditions and resilience that enrich our schools. During the festivities, Acting Superintendent Dr. Noha Abdel-Hady had the privilege of presenting Latin Footprint Educator Impact Awards to two outstanding staff members for their dedication to our families:

  • Ms. Blanca Jaramillo (Windsor High School)

  • Ms. Ciara Ayala-Pujols (Sage Park Middle School)

The Latin Footprint also recognized four Windsor students for their academic excellence and cultural representation:

  • Jhonael Almonte, Grade 7

  • Camila Plasencia De La Cruz, Grade 8

  • Manuel Prado Rojas, Senior

  • Amber Denise Liberato, Senior

We are grateful to our community partners for inviting us to be part of this joyful space. This is the power of community at Windsor Public Schools.
