Windsor High School is thrilled to announce Samuel Garcia and Amanda Eneh as Co-Valedictorians for the Class of 2025. For the first time in recent memory, two outstanding students share this top honor—an extraordinary testament to their academic excellence, relentless commitment, and the high standards of Windsor High School.
This historic tie isn’t just about these students outstanding GPAs. It reflects the strength of character, passion for learning, and well-rounded leadership that defines the Windsor Graduate—collaborative, resilient, socially conscious, and globally ready.
Samuel Garcia
Samuel is a powerhouse of intellect, innovation, and integrity. A member of the National Honor Society, Rho Kappa Social Studies Honor Society, Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council, and Technology Student Association (TSA), his achievements include the Yale Book Award, RPI Medalist, National Hispanic Recognition Program, and the Superintendent Award of Excellence.
An accomplished athlete and student leader, Samuel serves as Captain of the Boys Swim and Dive Team, Treasurer of the Connecticut TSA, and a Student Advisory and Fresh Start Leader. He’s earned accolades in academics, athletics, and engineering—winning 1st place in both Engineering Design and CAD Engineering at TSA competitions.
Beyond school, he works as a Town of Windsor lifeguard, volunteers at Camp Foxfire, and has played the cello for over a decade. Samuel will attend the University of Connecticut this fall to major in Biomedical Engineering.
Amanda Eneh
Amanda is a dynamic scholar, athlete, and community-minded leader. She’s a member of the National Honor Society and Rho Kappa, and recipient of the Harvard Book Award, Jae Lim Award in Science, and All School Awards in English and French.
As co-Captain of the WHS Volleyball Team and a member of the Girls Tennis Team, Amanda has shown poise and leadership both on and off the court. Her passion for service is evident in her volunteer work as a tutor in the Humanities Lab and through CT CAT Connections.
Amanda is also a talented musician with the WHS Symphonic Band. This fall, she will attend Boston University, majoring in Biology with a focus on making meaningful change in the world.
