The star of the show was Sophia Stagni, whose poster not only won the local competition but also captured the essence of the contest’s theme – peace. Sophia’s creation, along with the impressive entries from runners-up Zianni Welsh and Livingston Riva, demonstrated a remarkable depth of thought and artistic skill.

The Lions Club International Peace Poster Contest has been a fixture in schools and youth groups for the past 30 years. It serves as a platform for young minds to express their visions of peace through art. Under the guidance of dedicated instructors like Mr. Fouda, students are encouraged to channel their creativity towards positive and meaningful messages.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Windsor Lions President Cynthia Daniels for partnering with Secondary Curriculum Director, Bonnie Finemann, to spearhead this positive youth development initiative in our middle school. The collaboration with the Lions Club not only brings art to the forefront but also fosters a sense of community and global awareness among the students.
