His journey from a paraeducator to his recent appointment as acting elementary school principal showcases his unwavering commitment to education and his profound impact on students, staff, and families alike.
Mr. Gagne's story is one of growth, dedication, and the pursuit of excellence. His educational journey within WPS began when he joined as a paraeducator in 1999. Over time, driven by his passion for shaping young minds, he transitioned to the role of a Math Teacher in 2004. But Mr. Gagne's connection to WPS goes beyond his professional roles – he is also a resident and a parent within the community, which adds a unique dimension to his leadership.
In 2019, Mr. Gagne assumed the role of Dean of Students at Sage Park Middle School, a position he held for four years. His leadership during this time showcased his ability to create a positive and supportive environment for both students and staff. Additionally, he took on the responsibility of Interim Assistant Principal at John F. Kennedy School for the past four months, further expanding his experience in educational leadership.
Throughout his tenure, Mr. Gagne has exhibited remarkable leadership qualities that have earned him the respect and admiration of students, colleagues, and families in Windsor.
