Shoutout to our newest college-bound Warriors:
🏃♀️ Hannah Donzella – Hofstra University
🥎 & 🏑Sydney Hicks – Nichols University
🏃♂️ Ryan Mays – ECSU
🏃♂️ Lucas Pearce – CCSU
🏃♀️ Jordyn Williams – Morgan State University
These athletes didn’t just show up — they showed growth, grit, and grind. Many of them were new to the sport they now call home, and their journey is nothing short of inspirational.
Much love to the coaches whose heartfelt speeches spoke volumes about their work ethic, resilience, and commitment to the process. The belief you poured into these athletes helped unlock something powerful.
And of course, a huge thank you to AD Christopher Fulton & Amy Stavola for crafting a moment these student-athletes — and their families — will never forget.
This is what Warrior excellence looks like.

🎖️Big shoutout to our JROTC students who competed yesterday in the CT Army National Guard Fitness Competition at the Hartford Armory! 💪🏽 They represented #Windsor with pride, discipline, and grit against other JROTC units across the state. We’re proud of you! #weareWINdsor 👐🏽

And that’s a WRAP on this year’s 🔌The Plug Speaker Series — and we closed it out with a BANGER! Huge thanks to 🎉Surlerner Waits, HR Manager at Niagara Water, who dropped gem after gem just in time for summer job and internship season. From the top mistakes young interviewees make, to how to use AI as a tool for enhancing resumes and cover letters, and tips on finding the plug in your desired industry — our students got real, actionable insight. She also spotlighted the many well-paying opportunities available at companies like Niagara Water for students taking a non-traditional path after graduation. 📣Shoutout to The Town of Windsor for investing in our schools through the Education to Business (E2B) Grant, and to our partners at @windsorcc for making this vision a reality. This is what it looks like when classrooms connect with careers and our students get plugged in and prepared! #ThePlugWHS #weareWINdsor #CTEStrong #WindsorCT #CareerReady #NiagaraWater #CTE #CommunityPartnerships #PostGradPower #PluggedInAndPrepared #EducationToBusiness #ThankYouWindsor

🔌This week’s “The Plug Speaker Series”featured the amazing Aisha Petteway, Executive Director of Community Partnerships for the @hartfordyardgoats. Aisha didn’t just bring career wisdom and motivation—she took the time to truly listen to our educators, hear their hopes for students, and explore ways to help elevate learning in the classroom. ✨
What an awesome way to connect our student-athletes to real careers in the sports world they already love! From operations and hospitality to media and community engagement—opportunity was in the room.

#MotivationMonday The work we pour into our students… this is the outcome. This is scholarship. This is leadership. This is service. This is character. Last week, we proudly inducted 56 new members into the National Honor Society and RHO Khappa Honor Society at Windsor High School’s 68th Annual Induction Ceremony — and what a night it was! Each new member was introduced with a heartfelt tribute from a current member, celebrating not just their academic excellence but their heart, drive, and commitment to making a difference. And if the faces looked familiar — it’s because they are! Many of our new inductees are the same student-athletes, performers, artists, and leaders who make Windsor shine far beyond the classroom. Special congratulations to our senior award recipients: 🏆 Daniel Howard Scholar: Amanda Eneh 🏆 Dr. Earle S. Russell Scholar: Samuel Garcia 🏆 Paul J. Sorbo Jr. Scholar: Victor Montilla To Ms. Jennifer Anderson and Ms. Sarah Pierz — THANK YOU for pouring your time, energy, and heart into our students. You are helping shape the next generation of leaders. Class of 2025 and Class of 2026 — the future is yours, and it looks bright. This is Windsor. This is excellence. This is family. #weareWINdsor 👐🏽 #FutureLeaders #NHS #ScholarshipServiceLeadershipCharacter #ProudMoment #WindsorStrong #StudentAthletes #BeyondTheClassroom #WindsorPride #LeadershipInAction
