✨✊🏿 When students see Black educators leading, innovating, and thriving, they see possibilities beyond limits. Representation isn’t just about visibility—it’s about rewriting narratives, dismantling biases, and ensuring that ALL children grow up knowing the truth: Black brilliance is everywhere. ✨
To our Black educators: Your presence changes lives. Your passion builds confidence. 💡 Your joy lights the way. Thank you for showing up, standing tall, and leading with love. (📸We ♥️ to see it OE)

What an incredible celebration of ✊🏾Black History Month at Oliver Ellsworth School! 🎉 Principal Gruber welcomed @bluesandbeyond (Blues and Beyond), a talented musical trio whose mission is to educate youth on how the Blues gave birth to R&B, Rock and Roll, Hip Hop, and Pop. #TheBluesandBeyond took our OE students on an unforgettable journey through the rich Black roots of music, highlighting the cultural impact and historical significance of these genres. This powerful performance showcased Windsor Public Schools’ commitment to cross-curricular education, merging history with music to deepen student understanding. It also exemplified our North Star— the Instructional Core Wheel— which guides us in developing the genius in every child through high-quality instruction and meaningful learning experiences. #weareWINdsor 👐🏽 #BlackHistoryMonth #TheBluesandBeyond #CrossCurricularEducation #NorthStarInstructionalCoreWheel
