8th Grade Washington, DC Trip – Deadline Extended!
Attention 8th Grade Parents: The registration and payment deadline for the Washington, DC trip has been extended to Monday, October 5.
Important Details:
Payment Methods: Bank checks or money orders only, made payable to Academic and Performance Travel (please include your child's name in the memo line). No cash accepted.
Notary Services: Available in the main office for a $5 fee.

The Office of Family and Community Partnerships is excited to announce this year's event lineup! With your help, we have selected workshops and events that are both educational and engaging for our Windsor families.
This Saturday, October 10, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, we can't wait for you to join us for the "Who Let the Dogs Out?" event, made possible by our amazing WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads Of Great Students)! Bring your kids, a positive attitude, and a healthy appetite—pizza is on us! Let's enjoy college football games together while creating meaningful memories with our children. On Tuesday, October 13, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, join Windsor Public Schools Leadership for a workshop on understanding high-quality instructional practices. Together, we will learn why and how certain instructional methods are used in our district and how you can support your students academically at home. Sign up for this workshop here.
We have many wonderful events prepared for you this year! Please come out, meet our school leadership, get involved in your child's school district, and learn strategies to help nurture your children.

Statement from the Windsor Board of Education
On behalf of the Windsor Board of Education, I am honored to announce the appointment of Dr. Noha Abdel-Hady as the next Superintendent of Windsor Public Schools, effective July 1, 2026.
Dr. Abdel-Hady has been serving as our Acting Superintendent, where she has provided steady and thoughtful leadership while maintaining a clear focus on student achievement, educational excellence, and strong collaboration across our school community. Her commitment to the success and well-being of Windsor’s students, staff, and families has been evident throughout her service.
Windsor Public Schools has a proud tradition of academic excellence and community partnership. The Board is confident that under Dr. Abdel-Hady’s leadership, the district will continue to build on that strong foundation while advancing opportunities for all students to learn, grow, and thrive.
We congratulate Dr. Abdel-Hady on this appointment and look forward to working together to support the continued success of Windsor Public Schools and the bright future ahead for our students.
