On Monday 1st Graders participated in STEM Sound Exploration Day. Friday we started the day honoring Black Excellence in Actors and Musicians with students parading around school as famous figures from Chadwick Boseman to Anika Noni Rose. This was followed by our Lunar New Year Parade for the Year of the Horse. Poquonock students were then treated by the PTO to the Science Heroes Assembly where they got to Experiment with Adventure. There is no school Monday and Tuesday February 16-17 for Presidents Day. ~Mr. Mihalko and Mrs. Romero
