Poquonock had a very exciting week. Monday, 2/2/26, was our SELebration in the morning, followed by welcoming Families to Coffee and Tea with the Principals. Mr. Mihalko read at the Windsor Library followed by the PTO Meeting at POQ. The 100th Day of school was Wednesday 2/4 and so was our Strings Concert. Friday we started the day with a parade honoring Black Excellence in Sports with students parading around school as famous figures from Michael Jordan to Simone Biles. At 1:00 Windsor High School Jazz Band and Drumline and Teens of Praise Gospel Choir under the direction of Dr. White and Mr. Monroe kicked off our Black History Month Assembly. Our other guest was Patricia Gardner, MLK Committee Chair for the Archer Memorial AME Zion Church. Then Poquonock Around the World was after school at 6:00. ~Mr. Mihalko and Mrs. Romero
