Rather than taking a day off, Windsor Public Schools students gathered this Tuesday to honor our veterans and learn what it means to be a hero of our country. Each school had prepared an assembly that included live music, poetry readings, and veterans’ speeches. As the students raised the flag of the United States of America, recited the Pledge of Allegiance, and sang “The Star-Spangled Banner”, each person in the audience could feel the pride for our country.
