Dear Parents/Guardians:
Welcome to the new school year! Please join us for our OPEN HOUSE Program, which will be held on the evening of Thursday, September 4, 2025. The purpose of OPEN HOUSE is to inform you about the critical aspects of WHS academics and to serve as an introduction for the partnership between you and your student’s teachers.
The first four classes you will visit will be your child’s ‘A’ day schedule, followed in order by their ‘B’ day schedule. The first part of each 10-minute period will be devoted to a presentation by the teacher and the last part of each period to the teacher answering general questions. Parents will also have the opportunity to schedule additional time with teachers to discuss their student’s individual needs.
Please pick up your child’s class schedule in the cafeteria before the start of classes. Also, you can view their schedule on your Parent Portal.

When your son or daughter has a scheduled study hall, we encourage you to stop by the Counseling Office to meet your child’s School Counselor and learn what is next in school planning for your student, or to stop by our Media Center to learn more about the amazing resources available there for your student.
