Firefighter Lauri Volkert showed our ELL students and families a great time! We toured the fire station to learn about the history of the Windsor Fire Department, checked out special equipment on the fire trucks and learned what they are used for, and saw special clothes they wear to protect themselves in a fire. Students were engaged and asked lots of great questions. Thank you firefighter Lauri for an amazing experience!
The science fair was fantastic! Thank you to all the families who participated. The students were fascinated. Here are some of the projects done by the students in our class as well as our class project. Ask your child about it!

Huge shout out to Mrs. Wood, the third grade team, the staff, and role model tour guides at JFK! Our OE Grade 2 Step up Field Trip to JFK was great! Our second grade teachers loved seeing their former students and our OE Huskies are excited to become JFK Eagles!
