Thank you to all the Fathers who showed up to our WATCH D.O.G.S. kick off event! We look forward to seeing all the Dads in the halls at OE this year. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

We have been learning about the sun, moon, stars and light/shadows and constellations in first grade. We traced the shadow of a shape outside at various times of day to see how the sun appears to move. We learned how to play "shadow tag" outside too!

Thank you to everyone who came out to our special ☕️Coffee Talk with Dr. Hill. Your participation and engagement are invaluable to our shared goal of ensuring the well-being of our students, staff, and community.
During our discussion about mold at OE, we highlighted the following key takeaways:
1. We have released mold and air quality reports dating back to 2018, reflecting our commitment to transparency since becoming aware of excessive moisture concerns. ➡️ https://tinyurl.com/3v2jb75d
2. The town is actively expediting the approval process for the Capitol improvement project (CIP), which will enable us to make necessary upgrades to address the issue.
3. Collaboration with the Department of Health is a priority, as their expertise will guide us in making informed decisions to maintain the safety of children and staff at Oliver Ellsworth.
4. Ongoing communication remains vital. We will continue holding meetings and collaborating with families, staff, and the community to provide accurate and up-to-date information on the situation.
Together, we will navigate this situation and ensure a safe learning environment for everyone at Oliver Ellsworth. #weareWINdsor 👐🏽
