Statement from the Windsor Board of Education

On behalf of the Windsor Board of Education, I am honored to announce the appointment of Dr. Noha Abdel-Hady as the next Superintendent of Windsor Public Schools, effective July 1, 2026.

Dr. Abdel-Hady has been serving as our Acting Superintendent, where she has provided steady and thoughtful leadership while maintaining a clear focus on student achievement, educational excellence, and strong collaboration across our school community. Her commitment to the success and well-being of Windsor’s students, staff, and families has been evident throughout her service.

Windsor Public Schools has a proud tradition of academic excellence and community partnership. The Board is confident that under Dr. Abdel-Hady’s leadership, the district will continue to build on that strong foundation while advancing opportunities for all students to learn, grow, and thrive.
We congratulate Dr. Abdel-Hady on this appointment and look forward to working together to support the continued success of Windsor Public Schools and the bright future ahead for our students.

Due to icy conditions, all Windsor Public Schools and offices are on a 2-hour delayed opening today, March 4, 2026. No Pre-K AM program.

Windsor High School will open at 9:35 AM.
Sage Park Middle School will open at 10:05 AM.
Elementary schools and Pre-K PM programs will open at 10:40 AM.
Tree House will open at 8:00 AM.

Due to a weather advisory taking effect at noon for dangerous travel conditions, Windsor Public Schools will be closed today, Tuesday March 3, 2026. Treehouse will also be closed. District offices will remain open at their regular time. Please stay safe and use caution if you must travel.
