Our Mission: To develop the genius in every child and create life-long learners. 

Students have the opportunity to learn to play a variety of musical instruments beginning in Grade 1. Violin students study the Suzuki method for violin.

150 Backpacks Donated

Members of TANA, Telugu Association of North America, generously donated 150 backpacks for our students. Each year, TANA Foundation members volunteer their time, efforts and other resources to community service and make it their mission to supply backpacks and other school supplies to school districts throughout North America. Windsor Public Schools is grateful for the group's donation which will help students with a portion of their back to school needs.


The number of Career and Technical Education Courses offered at Windsor High School. WHS has 14 courses articulated with colleges that students can receive college credit for the course they take in high school. Offerings include participation with Capital Community College, Manchester Community College,  UCONN and Goodwin College. See the Counseling section on the WHS site.


Windsor Class of 2019 

269 graduated in the Class of 2019 which included 13 with High Distinction, 28 with Distinction and 52 National Honor Society members. Congratulations to all!


The Summer Meals program provides free lunches and snacks to kids and teens 18 and under. In June, we were able to prepare close to 1800 meals and 1700 snacks. Click Learn More to see the schedule for available sites in Windsor.
