Students at Oliver Ellsworth School participated in a celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with a variety of fun and meaningful activities. Classroom learning centered around disdcovering who Dr. King was, and what he stood for, and his accomplishments. Students were read stories about the life of Dr. King, they sang songs,  and created hats and banners to carry through the school for a school-wide March for Unity and Peace. The march through the school celebrated the ideas of equality, friendship and love.
