How can I test if my home internet-connected device (computer or tablet) can be used for distance learning?

Our students will be using ClassLink to access learning materials. For students in Grades 2-12, if you have a device, other than a Chromebook in your household, please visit and refer to this ClassLink Parent Guide. Your student already knows their Google username and password required to login.

Students in Grades K-1 use iPads in school. To test if your home tablet will work for distance learning, you will also help your student visit and follow the steps in this ClassLink Parent Guide. You will also need to help your Kindergarten or Grade 1 student to login to Google because students do not learn how to login to Google at school until Grade 2. Follow this guide to help your student login to ClassLink

If you discover that your home internet-connected device does not work with ClassLink, then please complete the Survey: Home Internet and Device Access. The survey is intended for families who have technology barriers in their home that would prevent their child/ren from participating in distance learning.

Once you complete the survey, a member of the technology department will review your responses. Responses are reviewed only once per day.

If it is determined that your household would benefit from an additional device, you will receive an email inviting you to make an appointment to pick up the technology.

It is also important to acknowledge that this public health situation is rapidly changing. If the situation shifts and we can no longer access the school buildings, we will no longer be able to loan devices.

If my district device is not working, how can get a district Chromebook or iPad repaired?

Please click the link to the form to request a repair on a district-owned device. Request for Technology Repair for a District Device

Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
