Regarding Progress Reports:

Progress reports are generally e-mailed about every 2 weeks to those parents/guardians who have asked for them to be sent. With this year's block schedule, that is only 5 class meetings. Sometimes progress reports may be sent more often if there is a significant assignment that has been updated or less often if there have been few updates, for example if students are working on a longer term project. In any case, if you wish to receive a progress report at any time, please e-mail and one will be sent as soon as possible. Also, please keep in mind that progress reports only tell part of the story. They do not reflect WHY a student did not receive credit for an assignment or WHY the grade was poor. If you have questions or concerns about your child's performance in class that the progress report does not answer, please e-mail or call and I will reply as soon as possible (e-mail is preferred and will get the quickest reply).
