AP WORLD HISTORY

New website: Click here

Welcome to AP World History!  You are the first students at Windsor High School to enroll in AP World History!  Throughout the year, this class will participate in a variety of activities all geared toward teaching you about the world -- how it began to develop thousands of years ago and how it continues to develop today.

Things to point out about this site:

  1. Use the table below to keep track of things that are happening in class.  For example, the column on the left will include the weekly syllabus -- this will include assignments for AT LEAST five class days.  These are given out in class but are available here as well.

  • Good Luck on the Midterm!  I know you can do it -- take deep breaths and relax!

For January 24th (1st day of 2nd semester -- seniors: you're months away from bigger and better places!) -- you have nothing to prepare for!  We will go over the midterm, look for mistakes you might have made, and construct the 3rd essay, along with the current Change Over Time you did earlier!

FYI: AP WORLD HISTORY TEST
THURSDAY, MAY 15TH, 2008 @ 8am

  • As I plan ahead for the test, I'm going to do after school review sessions starting in February.  So far, they will be on the following Thursdays -- February 7 (Unit I), March 6 (Unit II), March 27 (Unit III), April 17 (Unit IV) and May 1 (Unit V).  Each session will start at 2:30pm and end when we're done!
  • Put these dates in your calendar NOW -- Saturday, May 3rd and Saturday, May 10th -- REVIEW FOR AP TEST @ 8-12pm ... and there WILL be food! ;)
  • Also, I am available for extra help on WEDNESDAYS after school.
