Academic Eligibility Policy |

In accordance with Administrative Regulation AR-6145.2, "Athletics and Extracurricular Eligibility," students must maintain a C- average, calculated as a 71 or higher, to continue participation in athletics and organizations at Windsor High School. Immediately after progress reports, participants with a g.p.a. of 75 or lower receive written warnings from this office, as do their parents and guardians. It is my responsibility to identify these students at risk, and to make available academic assistance, counseling, and extra help. On or before the tenth day following the close of each marking period, calculation of student g.p.a.'s will be completed, using the following point values:
The QUARTERLY g.p.a. is always the determinant of academic eligibility for the next quarter. Eligibility is regained when the g.p.a. of the next report card is 71 or higher.
