SEPTA
SEPTA is a PTA
within a school district. We bring together people who are
interested in special education and children with special needs.
SEPTA supports, strengthens and promotes the welfare of children
with special needs. SEPTA promotes an understanding of special
education and strives to enrich the lives of children and their
families.
Education Issues
Keeps abreast of issues such as block scheduling, student placement,
funding for the instructional program, curriculum, and grading.
Works with the school and district administration and the school
board. Provides PTSA members with current information on education,
offers programs to inform the membership, and solicits input from
PTSA members. Chris McAuliffe. |

Public
Relations/Student Activities
Makes sure the PTSA is using effective two-way
communication in the pursuit of its goals. Works with each committee
to develop communication strategies and plans. Public Relations is
more than publicity; the committee promotes involvement, finding
effective ways to listen as well as spread the word.
Athletics
The Athletics committee's activities are a joint endeavor among
parents, school administrations, teachers, coaches and students.
Objectives of the committee include promotion of individuals in
academic and athletic programs; increasing student participation and
parent support in all Windsor High School athletic programs and in
doing so promoting school spirit. |
