Team Policy

Our first priority is to foster and protect your child's safety and environment to promote learning.  In keeping with this objective we abide by the policies and standards set forth by the Windsor Board of Education.  Please refer to your child's agenda for all school policies.

The team 4 teachers would also encourage all parents and guardians to contact their child's teacher(s) with any concerns. Our emails can be found on the opening page of this site. Education is a partnership between the student, teacher, and family. Like the spokes of a wheel, all must work together for together there is the strength of purpose.

7 Tips For a Successful Academic Year

1. Have a specific place to do your homework.  This place should be free of anything that might be a distraction.  That's right -no phone, tv, i-pod or walkman.

2. Have a specific time to do your homework.  Get into a routine. Don't make the time too late.  You are at your best between 5:00-8:00 PM.

3. Do your less difficult work first.  This will give you momentum for the more challenging homework.

4.  Do your work at a desk or table.  If you lie down to do your work, you are telling your body that it is time to sleep.  That is why you get sleepy.

5.  Take needed SHORT breaks.  This does not mean get on the phone.  Walk around.  Stretch.  You are an academic athlete.  Keep  your body prepared and your mind will follow

6.  Re-review memory work (example: parts of the skeletal system for science test) right before you go to bed.  This will help you remember provided you memorized the material beforehand.

7.  KEEP TO YOUR ROUTINE
