The Sage Park Middle School PTSA, organized in May 2000, is a member unit of the Connecticut PTA and the National PTA, the largest child advocacy group in the USA.

The mission of the PTA is three-fold:

  • To support and speak on behalf of children and youth in the schools, in the community, and before governmental bodies and other organizations that make decisions affecting children;

  • To assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise and protect their children;
  • To encourage parent and public involvement in the public schools of this nation.

Officers are President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. Standing committees are School/Family/Community Partnerships, Education Issues, Finance, Legislative Activities, Membership, Program, and Student Enrichment. The school principal and a teacher liaison serve on the PTSA Executive Board, with the officers and committee chairs.

Membership is open to all that support the mission of the PTSA. We welcome parents, guardians, students, staff, grandparents, and community members. Membership forms (pdf format) can be returned to the school’s PTSA mailbox at Sage Park Middle School, 25 Sage Park Road.
