Text Box: You will need to prepare some materials for your mother to look over. Your product must show the differences between volcanoes and earthquakes. You must make your decision seem clear and provide good evidence on why you should live in the place you choose and not in the other location. There are three parts to this: 1. Literature – written evidence. 2. Visual – pictures. 3. Models You can create a product that is easy to present using one of these choices. a. Scrapbook. Compile 20 pictures (10 of volcanoes and 10 of earthquakes) and demonstrate to your mother why you should live in the town of your choose. Include captions and paragraphs of facts for her to consider. b. Poster. Make a poster that has 10 pictures (5 of volcanoes and 5 of earthquakes). Include all of the facts that are needed to make your point. c. Travel Brochures. Make 2 brochures that show the up side of one location and the down sides of the other. Include 10 pictures (5 of volcanoes and 5 of earthquakes) to illustrate your point. NOTE: The model is completely separate from these presentation materials.
