This was our first meet and it was fantastic. When we arrived, I was told it was a tri meet, meaning that three teams would be running. Though the course was a bit confusing, we still managed to conquer. The boys had an impressive first place win, helped by Patrick finishing first, Derek finishing seventh, and Aaron finishing eighth in his first meet ever!

     Then the girls had their chance to take on the two-mile course. Medinah had an impressive race, beating the course record, with a first place win with 12m 34s. Sydnee was just behind her with second place, then came Molly with a third, and with an impressive sprint at the end, Caitlin finished fourth.

     I’m so proud of everyone for not just the running, but also the teamwork and the sportsmanship I saw as well. Great job!!
