Homework Rubrik
Score of 4—Homework is neat, complete, on time.
Score of 2 —Homework is neat, at least 75% complete, or is one-day late, meeting criteria 1 or 2.
Score of 0 —Homework is less than 50% complete, more than one day late, or not submitted at all.
Homework is to be copied into Student Agendas and is posted daily on the whiteboard at the rear of the room.
Please note: Accuracy of homework does not affect grade. Homework is discussed daily & students correct their work in class.
Make Up Work
Homework, quizzes, or tests missed due to absence must be made up. You have 1 extra day to hand in homework for each day you were absent. If you missed a quiz or test, the rule is the same. Exception: If you missed the review day, you have 2 extra days so that you may review your study guide and ask me questions as needed.
Homework & handouts from when you were absent will be collected & labeled for you and clipped to your class carousel hanging in the rear of the room. Leave your make-up work in the tray in the front of the room or present it with the current day’s homework. |
