Students in Mrs. Amadasun’s Social Studies Classes have begun to get acclimated to the busy and challenging topics of Geography. In our first unit, they have been learning about the Tools and Concepts of Geography as well as the five themes of Geography: Location Place Movement Region Human-Environment Interaction They will be learning how to use the different kinds of maps to acquire, analyze, and report information. Students will also be learning to identify and use the essential elements of a map, to understand major features of a globe and to identify and use different types of graphs and charts to report information.
