encourage individual students to scaffold their
learning in processing text.

Engagement, self-monitoring Questioning the Author.
5. Department members will attend grade-level data
based decision-making teams to analyze formative
assessment data.
6. Content area teachers will meet monthly in their
data analysis teams to inform their instruction.
7. Teachers and administrators will organize data to
determine student outcomes.
8. Content area teachers will continue to develop
mini-assessments that mirror the CMT in reading
comprehension.
9. Teachers will establish a home-school connection
