1. Working with special education teachers,
supervisor and consultant, teachers will develop the
necessary skills in differentiation.
2. Specialized reading and math classes will
continue to be staffed with special ed teachers
and students who meet select criteria.
3. Teachers will implement differentiation
strategies in classrooms or with smaller groups of
students.
4. General Education teachers and Special Education
teachers and Supervisors will meet for regular
collaborative planning.
5.
Reading and math mastery teachers will conduct
monthly assessment of progress and needs.
6.
Professional Development in Reading will be provided
to new Special education teachers.
7. Special Education and General education teachers
will develop resource files of differentiated
instructional materials in content areas with
emphasis on reading and math.
