Windsor is the oldest town in Ct. Located on the Conn.and Farmington Rivers. Each year Windsor celebrates the return of the Shad, a large fish, that swims upstream to breed. The town has a fishing derby, a fair on the green, a Shad Derby Queen Contest and Ball, a foot race, canoe race and many other activities during the month of June.
