The Great Wall of China

As one of the oldest civilizations in the world, China begins our course of study. In the first unit, students are introduced to the philosophies and religions of the Orient and in particular how they continue to impact the thinking of China and her neighbors to the present day. As China's people struggle to enter the global economy, they will have a monumental impact on the markets and resources of the world in the 21st century.
