WELCOME TO THE JFK LIBRARY MEDIA CENTER
Ms. Dyer, Library Media Specialist
JFK students attend library classes once a week. Lessons are designed to expose children to old, new and award winning books and show them how to locate them on the shelves. Research skills and basic computer skills are also covered. The collection includes Picture Books, Easy Readers, Chapter books, Biographies, Fiction, Magazines and Reference Books. A special curriculum section is available for teachers and staff. Students are encouraged to browse the library collection during their weekly visit and check out books of their choice. Books must be returned within a reasonable time, or a replacement fee is charged. The web site links listed on this page are an extra tool to connect students to further research and learning.
