The American Revolution is another hot topic in fifth grade.  Here are some sites which offer different ways to explore it:

In library media, we build on the research skills students learned in grades three and four.  The atlas and thesaurus will be added to student research skills.  The atlas gives us graphic information; the thesaurus is an aid to better writing.   We will also cover Internet search basics and use WebQuests to improve those skills.
