Caldecott Award and Honor Books
The Caldecott Medal is awarded annually by the American Library Association to honor the illustrator of the most distinguished American picture book for children.

Newbery Award and Honor Books 
The Newbery Medal is awarded annually by the American Library Association to honor the author of the most distinguished contribution to American children's literature.

Coretta Scott King Award and Honor Books 
The Coretta Scott King Award is given annually by the Coretta Scott King Task Force of the American Library Association and it honors authors and illustrators of African descent whose excellent work promote an understanding and appreciation of the "American Dream."
